This was the year! 2011! Toby was going in the water after a 4 year hiatus and we were going cruising!
Since I have owned Toby, I have dreamed of taking her into the North Channel of Lake Huron and re-visiting
all those places I sailed as a kid with my family after the Annual Bayview Mackinac Races.

This time it would be different, I could go about anywhere. With a 26″ draft with the centerboard up,
I could “gunkhole” just about anywhere. September here we come! No bugs, no crowds and just about
guaranteed perfect weather. But I digress….
